1. Technologies for Generating and Assessing the Quality of Educational Tests.
The development of new knowledge assessment technologies for the control and diagnostic component of an adaptive learning environment will be implemented based on an ontological approach. Key tasks include generating educational tests and assessing test quality. Test generation will be based on ontologies of specific courses. The test assessment subsystem, using automatic methods, will extract the test's foundational knowledge—i.e., the conceptual structures being questioned—and compare them with the relevant network fragment of the ontological model. Based on this comparison, a metric will produce a test evaluation, including assessments of integrity, reliability, categorical relevance, and others. This technology will standardize procedures for comparing different tests and define verifiable comparison parameters.
2. A Linguistic Processor for Analyzing a Student's Free-Form Answer, Constructed as Arbitrary Text in a Natural Language.
Text analysis is based on semantic-syntactic forms of answer models, enabling the extraction of knowledge relevant to the given question from responses. A question-answer grammar has been developed, and modules for morphological and partial syntactic analysis have been implemented for Russian and Tatar languages.
